Walmart’s New Home Office is an opportunity to reimagine how and where we work together. And that starts with the places and spaces where the actual work gets done: the offices.
On campus, you’ll find 12 uniquely designed office buildings, set up in neighborhoods and surrounded by big nature and native vegetation. With easy-access parking decks and miles of accessible bike and nature paths connecting campus and community, getting to the office is easy – whether commuting by bike, e-bike, public transportation or car.
While no two buildings are alike, the buildings are all constructed from sustainable materials like regionally sourced mass timber and dynamic glass, outfitted with smart technology and powered by renewable energy. Inside, associates may start their day at a coffee collab – a functional collaboration space for eating and meeting – or head straight to their private workspaces. With personal and hot desks, soundproof phone booths, private window-side seating and softly lit focus rooms, there’s an array of flexible workspaces to fit the needs of the day.
When ready to connect and collaborate, associates can reserve one of the neighborhood, tiered or multi-purpose meeting spaces available throughout the office buildings, and make use of innovation studios, full-service tech bars and coffee collabs.
Surrounding our office spaces, you’ll find outdoor patios at the lobby level, rooftop terraces, food truck pavilions and more gathering grounds, including Helen’s Amphitheatre, a large central gathering ground in the very heart of campus.
Our new campus will be a place for associates from across the globe to connect and create, no matter what their day has in store. And most importantly, it will be a place where everyone will thrive – and everyone belongs. We are all proud of Walmart’s rich heritage and excited about our bright future.
