
Chris Farrell
Executive Vice President, International Strategy and Development, Walmart International
Chris Farrell serves as executive vice president of International Strategy and Development. In this role, Chris leads the strategy team and focuses on maximizing value within the existing Walmart International portfolio.
Prior to joining Walmart, Chris worked with Bain Consulting as an external advisor, providing M&A and strategy advice to select Bain clients. Additionally, Chris spent five years as Global Head of M&A at Ahold Delhaize and served as Global Head of Strategy, M&A and Investor Relations for Delhaize Group. In between his time with Delhaize Group and Ahold, Chris served as chief strategy officer with Authentic Brands Group. Chris has been involved in major transactions in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America, and as a banker he advised on cross-border deals for large multinationals, including Walmart.
Chris has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Stetson University, and an MBA from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business. He has served on boards of several charitable foundations including the Surfrider Foundation and the Shelbourne (Ireland) Football Club. Additionally, Chris produced two documentaries.
