Walmart’s sustainability efforts aim to source responsibly and create inclusive economic opportunities.

Given Walmart’s size and international footprint, we have an opportunity to improve conditions for workers in supply chains and bring about positive change at scale. By 2026, we aim to mitigate risk by helping make ethical recruitment the norm for the global supply chain. To accelerate progress, Walmart is fostering worker safety and dignity by helping prevent forced labor and promoting safe working conditions. Our work also aims to create inclusive economic opportunities through sourcing and provide our customers with safer, affordable, healthier food options and products.
