MILWAUKIE, Ore., Aug. 12, 2013 – Walmart will open the Oak Grove Walmart Neighborhood Market on Wednesday, Aug. 14, after a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. The new store, approximately one quarter the size of a Walmart Supercenter, is located at 15600 SE. McLoughlin Blvd. and is open 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. The new store will provide local customers with a new, convenient option for their grocery shopping needs, including fresh produce and pharmacy services.

"We're pleased to welcome the Oak Grove Walmart Neighborhood Market to our community," said North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce President & CEO David Kelly. "The 95 new jobs, access to fresh and affordable groceries and Walmart's continued investment in our community is yet another example of the exciting things happening on the McLoughlin Corridor."

Smaller Store, More Convenience
The Walmart Neighborhood Market format offers quick and convenient shopping, with a full grocery department, including organic and natural selections. The store features prepared food options, fresh-baked breads, self-serve deli and a bakery. The Oak Grove store is also tailored to the community, offering local favorites, including:

  • Dave's Killer Bread
  • Bob's Red Mill
  • Franz Bakery Items

The pharmacy offers a full range of products and services. Pharmacy team members can answer product and prescription questions and customers can ask about health and wellness solutions.
