Radio Commercial Highlights Strong Relationship Between Wal-Mart and the Salvation Army

Wal-Mart was proud to sponsor a radio commercial highlighting our strong relationship with the Salvation Army.  For decades, Wal-Mart has been proud to welcome the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign to our stores and clubs.  In 2005 alone, The Salvation Army collected $26 million from Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club from our customers through Red Kettles in front of stores.

This radio campaign highlights the 31 million people in need that were helped last year by the Salvation Army. The campaign started the day after Christmas and is playing in Christian radio stations throughout the country.
