BENTONVILLE, Ark., November 14, 2006 – Only weeks after rolling back prices on over one hundred of the holiday season’s hottest toys and games, Wal-Mart has taken steps to make Christmas even brighter for parents and kids nationwide. Today, Wal-Mart announced additional price cuts on even more toys and games, bringing the running total to over 150. This is the fourth set of rollbacks in a series of price cuts on thousands of holiday items across multiple categories including electronics, small appliances and toys.
“Wal-Mart is stocked with the best toys at the best prices 365 days a year, and this Christmas is no different! We’re reducing prices on the hottest toys to help Santa spread holiday cheer,” said Scott McCall, Vice President and Divisional Merchandising Manager for Wal-Mart Stores. “We’re offering the best value on top toys, including the X-Games BMX MotoBike and Bratz Kidz, to name a few, in order to make this special time of year more affordable and enjoyable for families everywhere.”

Wal-Mart will continue to stand by its policy of matching advertised toy prices of competitors and effective now through December 31, shoppers will discover toys ranging from interactive games that get kids off their feet through delightful characters that come to life, to fun learning tools and classic family board games that will be available at significantly reduced prices.
