BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Oct. 22, 2006 – Wal-Mart Stores announced today a pricing campaign to help parents provide for their young families affordably, offering more than 10 varieties of Gerber foods at the incredible value of 25 cents per jar. Rolling the savings back from the original retail price of 52 cents each, parents can now enjoy the quality brand of Gerber 2nd FOODS™ selections in glass jars at more than 50% savings while quantities last.
“We understand that parents recognize Gerber as a leader in quality baby products and Gerber 2nd FOODS™ baby foods offer a variety of selections to introduce young children to new tastes,” said Steve Broughton, Wal-Mart Stores vice president, dry grocery division. “We’re pleased to be able to make these selections available at a great value to better help parents feed and provide for their families affordably.”
