Customers can now shop Walmart.com for exclusive & popular apparel brands at every day low prices
BRISBANE, Calif., July 20, 2004 - Today, Wal-Mart announces the launch of apparel online, available at www.walmart.com. Walmart.com combines the ease and convenience of online apparel shopping, home delivery, and trusted brands - all at a great Wal-Mart value.

Walmart.com offers more than 15 apparel brands, in a variety of styles for the entire family, including exclusive Wal-Mart brands such as George, Faded Glory, and White Stag, along with national brands including the mary-kateandashley brand, Wrangler, and Rider. The site provides a complete assortment of fashion-forward and basic apparel for everyone - women, men, juniors, girls, and boys - to fit various lifestyles at home, work, evening, and play. Even more, Walmart.com offers specialty sizes for men’s big and tall, women’s plus, and juniors’ plus.

Customers can easily shop Walmart.com and select from a variety of sizes, colors, brands, and styles including career wear, denim and khakis, casual and active wear, and coats. Also, the site offers the latest fashions for the "back-to-school" season including backpacks, jeans, and sweaters. School uniforms are also available as part of back to school.

In addition, Walmart.com provides helpful shopping tips that highlight new and seasonal apparel trends as well as key items essential to building a wardrobe. All apparel items include online descriptions that contain helpful product information such as fabric content, washing instructions, and care requirements. Also, customers can easily return any merchandise by simply sending it back via USPS to Walmart.com or returning it to a local Wal-Mart store.
