Important tips and information about womens health will be available to all participants, including a free copy of Speaking of Womens Health: The Book: Recipes for Living Well, a book packed full of tips and recipes on health living and eating. An estimated 4.8 million copies of the paperback will be given away, courtesy of the National Speaking of Womens Health Foundation and its national sponsors.
The free books will be available during the event on Oct. 8 and 9 at all Wal-Mart stores nationwide while supplies last. Packed with useful tips, advice, recipes and information, the book is an educational resource for women of all ages.

"The Speaking of Womens Health initiative is one that Wal-Mart is very proud to be a part of," said Mike Duke, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores, U.S.A. "We are dedicated to continue offering information that educates women about making informed decisions about their health, well-being and personal safety."
"This community event is a wonderful way to reach millions of women to encourage them to take just a moment out of their busy lives to think about their health, well-being and personal safety," states Diane Dunkelman, president and founder of the National Speaking of Womens Health Foundation. "We know that there are many simple things women can do every day to improve their health -- like taking a walk, eating more fruits, remembering to buckle up, and just maintaining friendships! We invite women to begin by signing a pledge for better health and receiving a free book, Recipes for Living Well."
