Dishing Up One More Holiday Gift: Walmart’s New Holiday Ham Basket for Less Than $5 Per Person

With just a few weeks left in the holiday season, we know customers are busy making their lists and checking them twice. For many of us, gathering around the table with family is among the most joyous holiday traditions. But with so much to do, and so little time to do it, we know our customers are continuing to count on us to give them time- and money-saving meal conveniences that don't sacrifice the recipes and traditions they hold dear.

We helped shoppers set the table early this year with our inflation-free Thanksgiving meal at a lower price than last year.* With just one-click, we made it simple and affordable to get all those Thanksgiving must-haves, and we heard from shoppers that they loved it.

Now, I’m pleased to share we’ve been busy creating another NEW holiday meal – one last gift from the food team at Walmart this season – to help customers continue creating delicious memories around the table while spending less this season.

The new basket features ham, all your favorite sides and two dessert options. There are 28 items in total, from the ingredients for sweet potato and green bean casseroles to brown-and-serve rolls and pumpkin pie. This easy-to-prepare holiday meal serves up to 12 people for under $5 per person!

The Holiday Ham meal is available in stores and on Walmart.com/holidaymeal through Dec. 31, offering customers a variety of choices and ways to save, alongside the convenience of delivery straight to their door starting as early as 6 a.m.

Customers can also purchase either meal for a loved one near or far by inputting their friend or family’s address into Walmart.com. There’s opportunity to give back, too, as customers can donate the equivalent of a meal to their local Salvation Army unit in just a few simple clicks.

We know our customers count on us to bring the magic each and every holiday season.
