Steve Schmitt is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Walmart U.S. In this role he has financial responsibility for the Walmart U.S. P&L. In his time with Walmart, Steve has also served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Walmart U.S. eCommerce, senior vice president and chief financial officer for Sam’s Club and vice president of Investor Relations. He brings more than 20 years of finance leadership to Walmart.
 
Prior to joining Walmart, Steve was vice president of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy at Yum! Brands. He also had leadership roles in FP&A, Sales Forecasting and Operations during his 10 years with Yum. Steve also spent 13 years at UPS in a variety of finance and accounting roles.
 
Steve earned a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Indiana University Southeast. Steve and his wife, Laura, have two children.
