Meng Chee is executive vice president and chief product officer for Walmart U.S. He is responsible for leveraging today’s technology to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Before joining Walmart, Meng was managing director and head of digital customer experience at JPMorgan Chase. He led design thinking and product design of omnichannel solutions for both advisors and customers in lending, consumer banking, wealth management and business banking.
Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Meng served as vice president of innovation at Samsung USA where he led the Samsung Health USA product group. Previously, he served as an executive at Nokia, inventing life-essential mobile services for emerging market economies. Before Nokia, Meng was chief technology officer at Frog Design where he led a global design and technology business unit servicing multinational companies.
Meng holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a master’s degree in software systems engineering from Boston University and has since studied innovation management and machine learning at MIT and Stanford. He has led product and technology for multiple startups, received three global design awards and he holds multiple patents.
