Crystal Jezierski is the Vice President of Global Ethics & Compliance Administration for Walmart Inc. Crystal joined Walmart in September of 2018 and currently oversees all aspects of Walmart’s corporate ethics governance and ethics and compliance administration functions.
Prior to Walmart, Crystal was a partner in the North America Litigation and Government Enforcement practice group at Baker McKenzie LLP in Washington, D.C. In this role she defended corporate compliance programs before U.S. law enforcement and regulatory agencies and advised general counsels and chief compliance officers around the world on a broad range of topics including compliance program design and implementation, global compliance risk assessments, compliance training, and conducting internal investigations.
Crystal has also served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice and as Chief Counsel for Oversight and Investigations for the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee. In these roles she provided strategic advice to top Justice Department officials and members of Congress on federal law enforcement priorities, congressional oversight of the Justice Department and other federal law enforcement agencies, and congressional investigations. Crystal is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar and spent several years volunteering for the Junior League of Washington, D.C.
Crystal attended Denison University in Granville, OH where she earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the College of William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, VA.
