"Having been in so many positions, I have learned to always be open minded to change and have certainly learned how to adapt," Rochelle said, noting she’s worked across the entire club and in roles of increasing leadership, including Bakery, Electronics, Fresh, Frontend and Sam’s Club Café. And for clubs in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. "All of these roles have played a huge part in who I am today and how I lead."
She originally intended Sam’s Club to be a part-time job to get her through college, until she realized the difference she could make. "I found that I loved working for this company," she said. "I am very passionate about what I do. I truly want to help make a difference in my club and this company. I am definitely an advocate for servant leadership and the golden rule. It's very important to me to lead by example."
For Rochelle, it’s all about how she can help other associates as well as the members in her community.
