Marcos Samaha
President and CEO of Walmart Brazil
Marcos Samaha is the president and CEO of Walmart Brazil. Marcos previously served as president and CEO of Walmart Centroamérica from 2009 to 2010.
Marcos joined Walmart Brazil in 1999. Before being appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer, Marcos was executive vice president of South operations, where he was responsible for all the commercial, marketing and operations of 131 stores in the region. He also served as director of perishables and vice president of Walmart Supercenters.
Marcos has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master of business administration from Universidade de São Paulo. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program from Insead, France.
