Pam Kohn is executive vice president and president of Walmart Realty for Walmart U.S. She is responsible for Walmart’s real estate operations and a portfolio of more than 3,900 stores, totaling nearly 1 billion square feet of retail space.
As the leader of Walmart Realty, Pam ensures that the company fulfills its commitment to be a good neighbor by working with communities to generate jobs, spur economic growth and continue its mission to save people money so they can live better.
Pam was previously executive vice president of merchandise services for Walmart U.S.., and was responsible for merchandise execution; store layout, format and space productivity; supplier administration; merchandise systems; and replenishment. Under her leadership, merchandise services increased the efficiency of these functions, thereby sharpening its focus on meeting the needs of our customers.
Pam joined Walmart in 2002 as vice president of global supply chain and became senior vice president of the Neighborhood Market division in 2004. She was named senior vice president of Southeast store operations in 2005, where she was responsible for strategy, merchandising, operations and real estate for more than 600 stores. In 2007, she was promoted to senior vice president and general merchandise manager of perishable merchandising for all Walmart stores in the U.S. In 2009, Pam was named senior vice president of global food sourcing and assumed expanded responsibility of the global food and consumable general merchandising center.
Before joining Walmart, she was senior vice president of merchandising for Stop & Shop Supermarket Company. Prior to Stop & Shop, Pam worked for Food Lion, Inc. in a variety of positions, including senior vice president of merchandising and marketing, vice president of store operations, director of category management and buyer.
Pam has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Northwestern University.
