Kristin Oliver is executive vice president of people for Walmart U.S., supporting 1.4 million associates across the United States. Kristin has human resources responsibilities for merchandising, marketing, financial services, planning, pricing and replenishment for Walmart U.S., along with Walmart U.S. general administration and field human resources, including human resources store support.
Kristin previously served as senior vice president of people for Walmart U.S., senior vice president of people for Walmart International, and vice president and division general counsel, employment practices.
Before joining Walmart in 2004, Kristin was a partner at the law firm of Gable & Gotwals in Tulsa, Okla., where her practice focused on commercial litigation and employment law. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Oklahoma State University and a juris doctor degree from Harvard University.
Kristin is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is involved in a variety of women’s initiatives, including Walmart’s President’s Global Council of Women Leaders. In 2011, she was named to Diversity MBA Magazine’s “Top 100 Under 50” list.
