Joel Anderson is President & CEO Walmart.com U.S. since August 2011. Prior to this role he was the Divisional Senior Vice President, Northern Plains based in Minneapolis, MN. He joined Wal-mart in November 2007.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Joel was the President of the Direct business for Lenox. He also served numerous roles at Toys “R” Us, Inc., including Senior Vice President, Marketing for Babies “R” Us, and leading divisions at Toys “R” Us dot.com and the stores organization. His prior companies include Target and DHL.
Joel has a B.A. from St Olaf, Northfield, MN, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, Boston, MA. He is married and has four children. As an active member of the community; he serves on the non-profit boards of Second Harvest Heartland (Feeding America) and Aquajets, a community swim organization; is an active leader in his church; and is connected with his alumni organizations.
