Jeff Davis is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Walmart U.S., and is responsible for merchandise, store operations, real estate, logistics and marketing finance; strategy; financial accounting; and, financial planning and analysis.
Jeff joined Walmart in 2006 as vice president of finance for the specialty division. In 2007, he was promoted to vice president of finance for U.S. store operations, and in 2009 he was promoted to senior vice president, finance and strategy. In 2010, Jeff was promoted to senior vice president and treasurer, with responsibilities for investor relations, capital markets, treasury operations, risk management and U.S. mergers & acquisitions. In 2013, he was subsequently promoted to executive vice president and treasurer.
Jeff started his career in public accounting in 1984 with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he provided audit assurance services primarily to financial institutions. In 1987, he joined The Hillman Company, a private-investment holding company, and over an 11-year period, he held a number of finance positions with progressive responsibility in operations review, mergers & acquisitions, treasury and private equity investment. In 1998, Jeff joined McKesson General Medical as its chief financial officer. In 1999, he joined Lakeland Tours, LLC as chief financial officer, leading its acquisition growth strategy. In that role, Jeff held responsibility for all accounting, financial reporting, treasury and capital structuring, strategic planning, legal and risk, operations and information systems functions.
He serves on the board of Massmart Holdings, National Urban League, University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School, and the Washington Regional Hospital Foundation. Jeff is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
Jeff earned a bachelor of science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School. Jeff is currently an inactive certified public accountant, Pennsylvania.
