Chris Sultemeier is the executive vice president of logistics for Walmart U.S. He has company responsibility for all distribution centers and fulfillment centers and responsibility for all domestic and global ocean transportation functions. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2012.

Chris’ previous role was senior vice president of transportation services where he was responsible for all domestic transportation, the Walmart Private Fleet and Global Transportation.  

Additionally, since joining Walmart in 1989, Chris has served in various logistics and merchandising roles, in both Walmart Stores U.S. and Sam’s Club divisions.

Chris currently serves on the boards of Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Northwest Arkansas, the University of Arkansas Supply Chain Center and the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining Walmart, Chris served in the U.S. Army as a Captain. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a degree in mechanical engineering.
