Douglas was chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company from 2000 until 2004. While at Coca-Cola, he also served in several other capacities, including overseeing various international markets, after joining the company in 1969. Douglas served as a director of Sistema-Hals from 2006 until 2009. He has been a director of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. since 2003, and a director of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc., since 2009, where he is a member of that company’s compensation committee.
Among additional endeavors, Douglas is a member of the European Advisory Council for N.M. Rothschild & Sons Limited and a member of the advisory boards of Longreach, Inc., Tisbury Capital, and Thomas H. Lee Partners.
