Because of our strong relationships with our suppliers, we are able to deliver the products our customers need at the prices they deserve. Their ideas, products and energy have helped fuel our growth for 50 years and they are an important part of our future.

In 2012, Walmart spent approximately $11.6 billion with women- and minority-owned businesses.
This includes $8.9 billion in direct spending and $2.7 billion in second-tier spending.
Women's Economic Empowerment
In 2011, Walmart announced a major initiative that will use the company's global size and scale to help empower women across our supply chain – including sourcing more than $20 billion from women-owned businesses in the U.S. Learn more
