In FYE14, we spent approximately $12.9 billion with women- and minority-owned businesses. This includes $10.3 billion in direct spending and $2.6 billion in second-tier spending.
In 2011, Walmart announced a major initiative that will use the company's global size and scale to help empower women across our supply chain – including sourcing more than $20 billion from women-owned businesses in the U.S. Learn more
